Four Connected Weeks of October Learning

Week 1: Letter S, Number 5 and AB Patterns

Children investigate the letter S, initial sounds, number 5 and repeating AB patterns through play dough, loose parts, movement, friendship activities, turkey art and Dancing Popcorn STEAM.

Week 2: Letters A and T, Comparing Quantities and Gratitude

Students explore uppercase and lowercase A, the letter T, more, less and equal quantities, fair sharing, gratitude, balance investigations, nature materials and sensory paint.

Week 3: Letters P and I, Sorting, Shapes and Spider Inquiry

Week 4: Letter N, Numbers 1–6 and Seasonal Inquiry
